Sunday lunch your Mam would be proud of!
Our resident Chef and his outstanding team dish up an authentic, traditional Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Service is between midday and 3.30pm in the spacious Wilton Lounge at the club.
With the emphasis on traditional, you will be welcomed warmly by one of our attentive members of staff. Seated at a table covered by a decorative linen tablecloth on which place settings of cutlery, serviettes and condiments are set out.
The Carvery is put together with locally produced fresh vegetables which are hand prepared in house. Our fresh meats are locally sourced from regional farms, hand butchered and prepared using classical methods.
Our carvery offers 3 succulent meats, roasted topside of beef, roasted crown of turkey and roasted prime leg of pork. A vegetarian option of Quality Quorn Fillet is also available. There is a choice of 6 seasonal vegetables as well as roast and boiled potatoes and to top it all off a rich mouth-watering homemade gravy.
Of course no good Sunday lunch is complete without the trimmings therefore there’s plenty of Yorkshire puddings, sage and onion stuffing, pork crackling, apple sauce, cranberry sauce, mint sauce and horseradish sauce to go round.
The carvery costs just £8.95 per adult plus a children's menu costing £5.00.
We also offer a full range of desserts, these includes our home baked apple and apple and blackberry pies whose pastry is a handed down family secret and its fillings hand-picked by ourselves. In addition to those 2 tasty treats our Terry's Chocolate Orange and Caramel Fudge Cheesecakes are made to a recipe that our chef has created himself from years of experience preparing desserts.
