About BARS

Our radio society was formed over 50 years ago in Barry, at the College of Further Education.

Our founder, the late Dan Adams GW3VBP, instilled in pupils the spirit of free thinking and experimentation in both radio and electronics. BARS keeps this ideal alive to this day.

Our society is active across all aspects of our hobby and we’re always keen to help others further their knowledge in radio communications.
